You can check to see if you can hear your mic is working by going to Steam Friends & Chat and selecting the gear icon in the upper right and then selecting Voice. From there you can use the button 'Start Microphone Test' to test your mic settings (expect echoes if you don't have earphones!) If it works, go ahead and test it in-game. Steam losing steam Epic Games is better, starting to take over Steam's market share with regular free games, better interface and better service. I wouldn't be surprised if, soon, Steam will shrink and evaporate, and it will be super annoying to have to use it to get at your old games.

The Terrible Old Man Coming Soon To Steam Engine

The Terrible Old Man is a traditional point-and-click graphic adventure inspired by the short story of the same name by H.P. Lovecraft. This should give you a good idea of the game's setting and general tone.
In The Terrible Old Man, you control a man who, along with his two friends, is drinking beer in a bar in the small town of Kingsport. In the bar, by chance, he hears that an old ship captain lives just outside town and has a huge treasure hidden in his house. With this information, the protagonist and his two friends make a very important decision.
The Terrible Old Man's game mechanics are typical of the genre. You can look at all the elements in the setting, interact with some of them, and speak with all the characters in the bar. Some characters will have more things to say than others, but all of them have important information.
The Terrible Old Man is a short adventure, lasting about 15 minutes, that does a very good job of adapting Lovecraft's story to the video game format. The puzzles, despite being few, are logical and very well constructed. And although the graphics seem bad at first, the truth is they have a very disturbing charm.
10 free Cthulhu Mythos games on Android

Ph’nglui mglw’nafh Cthulhu R’lyeh wgah’nagl fhtagn! Ahem. Sorry. No, I wasn't choking on my tongue there. Bad jokes aside, talking about the Cthulhu Mythos game is talking about one of the most important collections of horror literature in history. Stories where monstrous gods older than time itself spy on our reality and attack our sanity. This isn't your traditional horror – more like fear of the illogical, of that which surpasses human thought. The popularity of the Cthulhu Mythos has grown inexorably with the passage of time and, like anything these days, it now boasts its own transmedia empire of related products. And obviously some of them are video games.
